Encountering a track that the word ‘epic’ does justice to is incredibly rare. Jonathan Wilson‘s Natural Rhapsody is one such track. It could best be described as Pink Floyd meets early Radiohead. 8:21 minute long but worth every damn second. Unfortunately the lyrics are sort of hard to decipher. There’s no accurate version of them online and Jonathan hasn’t been responsive so they’re about 75% accurate. Better than nothing, right? Check out this masterpiece:

LyricsWe hear you’re a friend of the road
Explaining your natural glow
We have been waiting completely
For every piece of your heart
And later when you are all alone
Let it rain down upon you
Well you’ve always known
There is no defeat
Only kinks in your heart
And when you were a child
Space mountain never made you smile
Indeed the natural rhapsody
And if you’re still waking to life in the go
No water, no fire in your bungalow
Just whisper good friend
To the hills on hand
The sweet grasses of spring
The biblical time
Shapes days… (?)
In an instant tomorrow’s a leap
And when you were a child
(?) made you smile
Indeed the natural rhapsody
We hear you’re a friend of the road
With your rebel demeanor (?) as stone
Come closer where leaving
The shapes that we drew in are shifting
When it’s all said and done
We are condensed of the horizon
Indeed the natural rhapsody
The natural rhapsody
The natural rhapsody
